Iran’s Consul General presents credentials to Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Tehran, IRNA - The Islamic Republic of Iran’s new Consul General to the Saudi city of Jeddah Hassan Zarnegar Abarghouei has submitted a copy of his credentials to Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Mazin bin Hamad Al-Himali.

Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Riyadh Alireza Enayati announced on his account on the X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday that Zarnegar Abarghouei presented a copy of his credential to the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia.

Enayati wished success to Zarnegar and the other members of the Iranian Consulate General in Jeddah.

Earlier in November, Zarnegar was appointed as the new Iran Consul General to the Saudi city of Jeddah by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian.

Zarnegar Abarghouei previously served as the head of the Iranian delegation in Saudi Arabia, caretaker head of the Iranian Embassy in Riyadh, the head of the Foreign Ministry's Third Persian Gulf Department, and the head as well as deputy of the Iranian Embassy in Kuwait.
